This developing series draws inspiration from the intricate designs and history of antique game boards, particularly the ancient game of Pachisi.  A recent visit to an exhibition at the American Folk Art Museum in New York City sparked my imagination and interest in developing a series of works based on the geometric structure of the game boards.

The antique Pachisi board has rich visual elements with its symmetrical, cross-shaped layouts, vibrant patches, and pathways, that offer structural inspiration for the series. Each piece plays with color, texture, and symmetry to evoke a sense of nostalgia while exploring new artistic expressions.
